BRET E. CAMPOY
Since 1995, Attorney Bret E. Campoy has been practicing family law in Santa Rosa, California.
In 2008, he became certified by the State of California as a specialist in this field. Mr. Campoy graduated with distinction from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Process and admitted to the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society.
Mr. Campoy is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association and the Sonoma County Bar Association. He has also been admitted to practice in federal court.
Mr. Campoy has sat on the California Bar Association’s Support North Committee, which made recommendations to the California Bar Association, and the Sonoma County Family Law Committee, which acts as a liaison between the Court and the Family Law Bar.
Prior to beginning his practice in Sonoma County, Mr. Campoy worked with the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office, the United States District Attorney’s Office in Sacramento, and the Marin Family Law Center.
Attorney Joann Campoy has been practicing family law since 1997. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Sonoma County Bar Association.
Prior to commencing practice in Sonoma County, Ms. Campoy worked with the Marin Family Law Center assisting people in need of family law services who had limited incomes. Currently, she serves as a volunteer panelist for the Sonoma County Courts and conducts Settlement Conferences for contested Family Law matters.
Ms. Campoy has been appointed by the Sonoma County Superior Court to serve as a private judge. In addition to training in collaborative and mediation practice, she has served as President and Director of Sonoma County Women in Law and was a member of the Sonoma County Family Law Best Practices Committee.
Ms. Campoy has skillfully litigated hundreds of cases. In addition to providing legal services in the courtroom, she provides mediation services to assist families to settle their own disputes.
Shelley Crandell is the Senior Paralegal/Office Manager for A Family Law Firm, Inc. Shelley has been a family law paralegal for the last 17 years. She began her career in 1997 as an Executive Assistant/Paralegal working for the Family and Children’s Law Center, a Non-Profit Organization in Marin County.
Shelley has an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Legal Office Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.
Chelsea Fletcher is the receptionist/secretary at A Family Law Firm, Inc.
Chelsea received her Associate’s Degree from the Santa Rosa Junior College in Humanities in 2012.
Mary Colbert has been employed as the Firm Administrator with A Family Law Firm, Inc. since 2006.
Early in Mary’s professional career, she was employed in advertising and public relations as a junior account executive.
Mary grew up in Marin County and attended many schools that found her in many locations. After graduating from an all girls boarding school in Central Pennsylvania, she earned her Bachelors degree in Speech and Communications at Emerson College in 1987 and her graduate degree in Political Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1996.
A resident of Petaluma, Mary is an active member in her local community, recently retiring as Trustee after 12 years of service on the Old Adobe Union School District Governing Board.
